SCICRUISE
Due to coronavirus, SciCruise has been cancelled and will be arranged when the situation allows it.
SciCruise is a science and technology festival organized by the LUMA Centre of Southwestern Finland and Uppsala and Stockholm University. The science cruise SciCruise is held on the Viking Grace cruise ship. The main themes are the Baltic Sea, science, and technology. SciCruise offers a wide range of interesting workshops, exhibitions, lectures, performances, and competitions about scientific, technological, and environmental themes. Families, teachers and students of all ages from elementary school to high school are all welcome aboard!
The journey start at the Viking Line terminal in the Port of Turku. The programme will be updated on the Program -page. The first night is reserved for casual leisure. The SciCruise program starts next morning. The program contains for example workshops and shows organized by the universities, workshops organized by the companies and organizations and a StarT! -region festival, where students get to show off their projects.
